DispatchLink, Inc. ("DispatchLink", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. Please read it carefully.
1. Information We Collect
Profile Data
When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, MC/DOT numbers, profile photo, and any other information you choose to provide in your profile.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with DispatchLink, including pages visited, features used, search queries, click-stream data, timestamps, browser type, device identifiers, and IP address.
Payment Information
Payment card details and bank account information are collected and processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partners (Stripe). We store only the last four digits of your card, expiration date, and billing address for reference purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Matching & Marketplace: We use profile and usage data to connect carriers with qualified dispatchers who match their lane, freight type, and operational preferences.
- Communications: We send transactional emails, in-app notifications, and — where you opt in — marketing communications about new features and promotions.
- Improving the Platform: Aggregated and anonymised usage data helps us identify bugs, optimise performance, and develop new features that serve our community.
- Safety & Fraud Prevention: We analyse activity patterns to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, policy violations, and other harmful conduct.
- Legal Compliance: We process data as required by applicable laws, regulations, and lawful government or court orders.
3. Information Sharing

DispatchLink does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes — ever.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to facilitate transactions.
- Identity verification services to confirm MC/DOT credentials.
- Cloud infrastructure providers that host and operate our platform under strict data-processing agreements.
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to standard confidentiality obligations.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
- TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit.
- AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest.
- Regular third-party penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Strict access controls — only authorised personnel can access personal data, on a need-to-know basis.
- Incident response procedures with breach notification in line with applicable regulations.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
